The Cell Phone arrangement only allows one to be connected at any time and does not over automatically if the other The Radio/CD Player is great and the Control is outstanding. Lots of area’s for small items and the trays at the bottom of the doors is for maps, baseball caps, etc.

Under the bonnet

Here is where MB let down. The power in the diesel is but another 10 — 20 horses the bonnet would have it a really great car. The is noisy when idling and under load, but once at you don’t hear it. Audi a beautiful 2,0L diesel why can’t MB come up with a engine for the B180. The engine is and over taking is easy, but extra bit of oomph would made it ohhhh so nice. economy on the other hand is and on the highways in Perth I registered 4,6 at 100Km/h on numerous occasions. A fully laden trip NSW to WA and back saw an average of 6 l/100Km for the Around my home town of — 5,1 to 5,6 l/100Km — 900 to 950Km between refills. How it drives

My and I undertook a 10,000Km trip to and back and did quite a bit of sight-seeing the way. Not once did either of us of any back pain or discomfort. A hour stint behind the felt like nothing. My previous car — a Toyota — the 2 hour stop come along fast The ride is excellent and the seats are so and have an infinite amount of available, so there is no excuse for not the right fit. Both my and I drove. Across the Nullarbor, the control held 120Km/h ease. The ride height is a bit low for NSW (which are absolutely atrocious a 4×4 is more suited to NSW but in SA and WA it is fine. The tyres are well to the car and road noise is very low at the speed of 100 — 110 Km/h. You don’t want the trip to My wife has claimed the car as hers.

Servicing and running

Filling up with Diesel happen often and the overall economy offsets the difference in the of fuel. Why diesel is so expensive in is beyond me. Even in Third Countries like South diesel is sponsored by the government and far than petrol. Services are by your driving style, so I about 15,000 — between services. Services are — don’t know why it more to change a MB’s oil as to a Suzuki. Only problem we was a driver’s window up-down that lost its programming fixed in a couple of minutes No charge. Other than the car runs like a dream and requires a visit to the petrol every 6 weeks or so, if we only around town. The tyres are out well and we should manage 50,000 — 60,000 Km on the Still a brand new spare in the wheel well.

This is caught our eye — the car just We liked it from before it was in Australia. Pricey when it for us initially. However, after up my wife’s Toyota Yaris a service, as we came out of the Toyota office, there was this MB B180 standing in the showroom the road. We walked across the and it had the cream upholstery with the inserts. Just what we A quick 70Km test and we traded the Yaris in on the B180. It had 4,000Km on the clock and did not have a or scratch on it. I think the styling of our is much better than the new The new one looks too closed up — not as as the older model. Safety and security

We feel so safe in our MB. It has all the airbags one all the safety features to avoid as well as reversing alarms and up front to warn when you are too to objects. The car feels good on the and when making a sudden change to avoid something, she responds and you never feel you have to react to the car getting out of — she helps correct errors. Brakes are great. been broken into touch wood. Enough and a box under the passenger seat for Cubby hole is large and well lit for any valuables.

Quality and reliability

Rating: 3.5 out of 5

The car as a whole is EXCELLENT. I have rated it lower because of the of the paint work inside the compartment. When I tried to some grime (with an tar and bug remover product from a retailer) that had built up in the work joints, the paint came off and I had to buy a can of under coat and spray paint to repair it. The MB when I mentioned it to them, or less blamed me for using an product, even though I use it on my 10 1/2 old Suzuki and have never had the come off. But you can see that the compartment has only had a very coat of paint and not even an coat. The car now has just over and apart from the paint everything else appears to be to last a long time. No yet.

MB looks after their and we get along well with the and staff at our local MB show and service centre. Would recommend a MB to anyone. The All Stars Day is a must to attend.
