Can someone me out where I can get the bushings separate? And joints? Thanks guys!п»ї

TheSebastian5978: Great Vid! hey do you how to replace the steering tie rods? bent the passenger side Total bummer:(

526ify: are the symptoms of bad ball joints? for your work!

fupabox: doesn’t need replacing. but if I get I can remove and re-install so you can see how it’s it’s a bit fussy but not too hard

Could you make a video of you the center link for steering? i really need some on how to do it 🙂

fupabox: the tie rods are very pop out like a ball joint at the and unscrew from the steering end..I have a video on the centre link ,that has the tie replacement on well.

thankfully my head gasket is (knock on wood). if you do the head make sure to soak the out of the exhaust manifold bolts penetrating oil..not too complicated time consuming with a lot of to remove..take photos so you will where it all goes. and good 🙂

Olly Yung: thank you so for making this video. I have two replacementball joints in my garage but was afraid to tackle because I heard they so so difficult to do. Just a question, my joints have been on my c23k for 150,000 miles. I need a ball joint and installer tool for this I heard that you must one, but you seemed to just do the job with basic tools, no forks or anything!

fupabox: welcome 🙂

fupabox: got them rockauto. if I remember correctly were acdelco

Joshua Bennett: The upper and nut move simultaneously when I try to the nut. I tried to use the jack for like you suggested, but still Any suggestions?

fupabox: no..once the joint is loose it can only be

fupabox: the same balljoint was on almost all models from 1990s to 2010 .you are that only the 4 matic used the old style ball unfortunately your car is one of the few that the pressed in type. you would a balljoint press to remove and it.

Anfisdaman: I have some in the front drivers side from side to side and you can see it where the control arm meets the joint, can I just tighten the nut on the top, after jacking the joint so that it’s all the way in.

fupabox: clunking/noise when bumps or potholes, slightly looser feel..same symptoms for upper to a lesser extent steering you raise the wheel off the ground and it top and bottom..bad ball joints allow movement as you try to wiggle the in and out (pushing in at the top of the wheel while from the bottom at the same vice versa)

micio de do you need aligment after job. as usual very video. i ll never go to a mechanic as long as you make videos

No worries, i finally found the tool for removing it. went off

jgeorgy88: Is this going to be to a 2004 s500? I have the model it looks like the 4matic has a similar ball to yours. thanks for the time on it’s really helpful.

fupabox: @ayung001 it is quite you may need a pickle fork 150k miles..I have one on jobs in the past but can usually get by the ball peen hammer. you need an installer either. make sure you install nut first then the lower. the pin on the lower attachment may stay to the spindle..if it does heat it a propane torch and pull it out vice grip pliers

Awesome videos! I just a project c220 and these helped me a lot. How is your gasket? haha, mine is shot and I’m a bit reluctant to do the job I have a little oil in the coolant (no in the oil luckily) but I should replace it soon anyway.

Louis Tan: Where did you get LBJ’s and what brand are

fupabox: try clamping the balljoint up the spindle with vicegrips or a c

fupabox: no alignment needed ball joint replacement

Jansen: I love you

aramjan: you very much for video helpful
