CL500. One day after taking the drivers side door at top of door popped up after two gave way. The instrument segments did not work correctly, the seat belt not working I waited several months taking the car in. As expected these the service experience was a joke, with a total imbecile of a advisor. Nobody follows up, time tracking down the manager, total waste. will be my LAST Mercedes a lifetime of MB exposure. Very sad this once great is trying to live on that star legacy. If I wanted Motors quality in a car, have saved myself 80k and a GM car. At least my expectations have been low.

Have mid-2000 CL500 — dark with oyster and chestnut gorgeous. Now have just 30K miles. Problem saga: on alternator before I even up the car; driver’s side belt made loud sound, had to disassemble seat to replace roll-up mechanism; rack leaked; ABC unit at one wheel and was replaced; passenger was mounted recessed a bit and leading scraped rear lip of fender door remounted; phantom that a turn signal was out, finally fixed; on COMAND went out —replaced; window shade fell off top had to be replaced; driver’s side lost a clip and wouldn’t all the way up; both rear windows’ and regulators have been window molding around sides replaced due to slight of frameless windows that chronically hit and crimp them, worsening the problem; trunk fatugued to where trunk lid barely stay open twice; CD often mysteriously over when starting car up, instead of picking up where it off last time car was on. Oh, and one honest to problem I couldn’t complain and which should have the ONLY problem in this car with 30,300 miles a parking light recently out!!

I have a new and now have a minor problem. The view mirror seems to a mind of its own. Whenever I the memory button to adjust the to my setting, the mirror shifts to the and down. No matter how many I adjust it to where I want it. in Pompano beach Florida replaced the entire mirror then on the second trip a memory chip. When I up the car, it was the same, except every time I put my key in the ignition, the shifts. Wierd. Going for a third time. So I called 800# and the rep’s attitude was he could care less. I him that I have 2 Benz’s and had 2 for over 25 years getting new every 3 years. He still care less and said problem should be taken up the dealer. They don’t get WHAT AN ATTITUDE! My wife’s car be 3 years old next year and for a new one. I am thinking, not MB.

Have mid-2000 delivery — dark turquoise oyster and chestnut — Now have just over 30K Problem saga: recall on before I even picked up the driver’s side shoulder made loud rachety had to disassemble seat totally to roll-up mechanism; steering leaked; ABC unit leaked at one and was replaced; passenger door was recessed a bit and leading edge rear lip of fender — remounted; phantom warning a turn signal was burned finally fixed; sound on went out —replaced; rear shade fell off top bar, had to be driver’s side window a clip and wouldn’t roll all the way up; rear windows’ motors and have been replaced; molding around both replaced due to slight misalignment of windows that would hit and crimp them, only the problem; trunk spring to where trunk lid would stay open — CD often mysteriously starts when starting car back up, of picking up where it left off time car was on. Oh, and one honest to goodness I couldn’t complain about and should have been the problem in this $95K car 30,300 miles — a light recently burned

Bought a beautiful pre owned CL 600 with Lorinser and just out of time warranty. 5 minutes of aquisition of the car(literally) the power door console to the cost of $4000. Six months the ABC became defective, and the car was at the dealer for 2.5 racking up a $12k bill. a nightmare. Had BMW’s before, and I a new one to regain the smile on my face. I NEVER return to MB again as are technological nightmares. Beauty goes so deep.

Finally pulled the and purchased my dream car — a CL500 — brand new at a County San Diego MB dealer I’ve done business this delaer before and have a great service This is my 2nd MBZ — my first is a E350 which is now sub-leased to a — and after 25,000 it is trouble free — but get back to my Dream Car — 6 weeks after delivery and ay milesw did not start one Friday — so a call to Road and 45 minutes later a new battery in a car 10 months before. Fast to Friday, Feb. 23rd, at 2:45 pm — try to leave in my Dream Car and car totally dead then call to Service — who personally drives with tech — to start car and take back to — again the dealer is — BUT — now I want to this car — to have problems in an 8 week — car is unacceptable — I’m for a buyback — complete — and I want to elase the new —

And — yes I’d you to forward this to a Lemon Law in the event that Merceds to blow me off.

Again — the dealer is

a certified used CL600 in appeared to be pristine condition. I have had the car it has been in for service 20 full days (oil requiring complete engine 4 times), window motor fuel tank sensor etc.

this is an unusual opportunity. To be honest, my CL 2004 has been a car. However, starting with summer I am beginning to wonder the ethics of the manufacturer and dealer. My car is 3.5 old. This summer I notice that my Mercedes phone was analog and would not in the digital world. The assumption is that Mercedes did not recognize the world was going and was digital. So I to the dealer, who tried to stick me a Blue Tooth adapter by me $300. more than was on the web-site. So along comes the Aid announcement that it is all analog and on the 31st of December, 2007 the analog system would no work, but lucky me, for $1500. labor I can replace the system Mercedes installed in my car and it will very well. I suspect Ernst Lieb and others at should be aware that issues are the fiber of class law suits. Please do not tell me the Government made us do it, so we had no choice. is a bad party line.

I own a CL55 AMG with only miles, no damage of any kind and the system has failed for the very reason 3 times since I delivery in 2006. Today on the 3rd the system fully failed; ESP, DIST, Battery, all lights and exterior lights, stuck in 1st gear and no wipers I was driving in the rain. Today is and the warranty fully expires on so I made it just under the The issue now is — what MB do to support me as a customer if the very failure occurs again, they have fixed it 3 while under warranty in one year. Sad, very

I purchased my in may of 2006 and have had nothing but I guess what upsets me the was the way I was treated when purchasing the and how that A+ treatment has declined numerous trips to the dealership. just having my vehicle for days I woke up to find my actually on the ground. I was told my ABC had a and there was a recall, and they fix no problem. They has since to fix my vehicle 8 times with no to the ABC system. While sitting at a light the system finally A black liquid leaked the under carriage of my car. I had to be home. Upon car review my MB dealership I was told my car is now out of warrenty and i have to pay 1,500.00 for the car to be fixed and that they can’t that it wont happen I will never purchased a MB I would expect more purchasing a certified MB from a top MB
