2014 Mercedes Benz Cabriolet Review and Test

It is a great time of year for a and this week I have the refreshed 2014 Mercedes E350 Cabriolet, a 4-seat top convertible.

This roadster with a 3.5-liter V6 engine and a automatic transmission. This produces 302-horses, which this car extremely well. It like you have 350-horses or with smooth, steady

As you would expect from a the E350 comes fully with leather interior is ultra-plush. Front seats are comfortable with multiple it would be hard to imagine not being able to find comfy spot. Back room is limited and not for adults.

As standard equipment, you get the Mercedes system that operates the and Bluetooth connections. You also get lighting, heated seats, door opener, collision electronic stability control and more.

Options on my test include a $1515 upcharge for the White paint, a $590 steering wheel, $350 spoiler, and the Premium 1 package gets you the navigation system, Kardon surround sound ventilated headrests, and rearview

The lighting package will set you $1500 and you get LED lighting with curve illumination. The Sport gets you 18”AMG 5-spoke and last is the Lane Tracking for $875 and with that you get spot monitoring and lane

The 2014 E-Class has a restyled end, new rear taillights, and new center stack that much sleeker, and the dash is and looks great with colored stitching.

The E350 still has some of its CLK roots, but has bodylines, and I give Mercedes for how quiet the car is. You get no wind noise at and there is zero road Trunk space is not great, but is typical of convertibles. Fuel is OK, and if you use the Eco button on the dash, you get the start/stop that boosts mileage in and works very smoothly.

In Mercedes fashion, this car smoothly and handles extremely in turns. This car is a great and would make a good driver unless you regularly use a seat. From a value I find it overpriced as it compares to the S5 which is about the same but some will like the more.

On a personal note, the color of this car is a little odd…it is White as I mentioned, with a interior, which is OK, but it has a red top.

What I liked most: and handling, and interior.

What I change: This car would great with 19” or larger

MSRP: Base price as equipped $70,965

Fuel Economy: EPA rated at 20 Highway.

2014 Mercedes Cabriolet in a few words: Fun to drive and a interior.

Warranty: 4 year/50,000 bumper-to-bumper with roadside

Dealers: If you want a Mercedes we have great dealer in Dallas Fort Worth, Lubbock, Los Angeles, and Sacramento.
