NO ROOM FOR HEADROOM

At just six feet tall, I found my brushing against the headliner with the seat reclined personal comfort. In the rear, space shrinks by another but does offer decent-for-a-coupe inches of rear legroom. So legged, short-torso-having passengers have no issues fitting there.

Other than the crushing roofline, the front is very comfortable and highly thanks to adjustable side and cushion length. The interior is the Mercedes-Benz setup with all controlled through the COMAND interface. Our test vehicle was with “Dark Ash Wood” that looked great and fit the elegant nature.

STROKE DEPENDENT

To give the E 350 a ride worthy of the ginormous star on the front, Mercedes the car with the brand’s “agility suspension with strokedependent system.” We aren’t sure all that means either, but in the world it provides a more than expected ride for a Yes this car is still stiffer than the E-Class sedan, but larger road imperfections be transmitted into the cabin.

One odd we had with E 350 had to do with the parking A couple of times after up the car, we would put it in drive and be with a warning on the dashboard we needed to disengage the parking before driving. It never feels though, a constant theme this car. Despite cross drilled brake and low coupe profile, the E 350 is always of a cruiser than a back bruiser.

SAME OLD ENGINE

still comes from a direct injection V6 that 302 hp and 273 lb-ft. Not terrible numbers, but the can feel overwhelmed by our all-wheel test vehicle’s 4,001-lb weight. It is strange to think a V6 only makes 300 hp is getting to be as under-powered, but that’s the case days.

Paired to Mercedes 7G-Tronic automatic transmission, the E 350 4MATIC does make the most of its power for driving around while emitting a nice V6 rumble. But, at higher the unfavorable power to weight begins to rear its ugly and the E 350 feels tepid. Making worse, the transmission frequently between gear changes and jerky, unsophisticated-for-a-Mercedes-Benz shifts. In ECO where efficiency is the name of the these issues were more obvious.

THE VERDICT

The 2014 E 350 Coupe at a base price of $53,125 destination charges and our test came in at $64,770 thanks to options like the sport premium package, LED light and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. is significantly cheaper than the coupe’s closest competitor, the BMW xDrive coupe.
