Three models of the S63 AMG have announced – a short wheelbase S63 a long wheelbase S63 AMG, and a wheelbase S63 AMG 4MATIC with all drive.

The AMG motor designated uses direct injection piezo injectors, an all aluminium four valves per cylinder camshaft adjustment, an air to water a lightweight composite oil pan, alternator management, as well as an start/stop function. The wheelbase 4MATIC model torque between the front and axles at a ratio of 33 to 67 by default. The case is integrated into the AMG MCT transmission. The torque is transmitted the power take-off via a propeller to the front axle. Power from the front axle to the front-left drive shaft is via an intermediate shaft which through an encapsulated shaft in the engine oil pan. The 4MATIC weigh only 70kg.

Two different suspension systems are with the S 63 AMG. The 4MATIC is fitted with AMG RIDE which is based on the AIRMATIC air system. The alloy on the S-Class are forged now, reduces weight while strength. Standard tyre are 255/45R19 at the front on 8.5×19 and 285/40R19 at the rear on 9.5×19 You can optionally upgrade to 20 inch wrapped with 255/40R20 at the on 8.5×20 wheels and 285/35R20 at the on 9.5×20 wheels.
