The Mercedes-Benz SL is one of the firm’s key cars, so there was of pressure to make this new one a darn good one.

The new SL’s interior is, as expect from a Mercedes, built to the standard you’d with a Benz, especially one at price range. They are the expensive and least frugal in the (and, if you leave the traction off, more susceptible to the rear tyres to pieces) if you can afford the car in the first place, likely that won’t be of a problem for you.

Saying a Mercedes that’s worth more than is ‘good value for money’ sound a bit odd, but in quite a few it is. Standard equipment levels are with stop/start, Mercedes’s Vision Control’ (which is modest way of saying there are nozzles in the wiper blades, so not squirted or sprayed when the or windows are down), climate and the innovative new ‘FrontBass’ stereo all coming on every model.

Some of the standard tech is just as good for most as the optional extras – for example, a few critics reckon that, the optional adaptive suspension is great, the standard springs and are so capable that it’s than adequate for a sports-GT
