SL500 R230 Vario problems

Hi: New to this site for some help with my Roof. Thanks in advance for help.

2006 SL500 with about 30k miles

Vario roof lock cylinder leaked for about 2 before replacing it. By that too much hydraulic fluid had out to operate the roof and the Rollover bar is in the middle of its cycle.

When replacing the Front roof lock hydraulic . I unlocked the roof manually an allen wrench and raised the about one foot. After the everything seemed to work I pushed the Vario roof limit switch S69/3 on the left locking mechanism and the went from the short position to the full up position.

I shut the trunk and moved the car and was to fill the hydraulic fluid Later when I tried to the trunk, it would not open. are several causes that not allow me to open the trunk with the mechanical key :

1] the rollover bar remains stuck in the position and I have not tried to it manually

2] In operation and the silhouette of the car showing on the dash. When I the main switch it sounds as it is cycling through, however is no movement due to the deficiency in the hydraulic Since the RVC thinks that the is in operation . it won’t let me open the

3] Upon further research, I found that the Right frame is locked in the trunk normally mode, while the tubular frame is locked in the top close mode. In other the trunk opens from the on the left side as if the top were down, while the right is locked down as if you were the trunk.

The possible conclusion being the Left and/or right frame locked switch 118/2 are not registering that the lid has locked itself completely ; I am that the problem is with the side switch.

If there is a way to unlock the Right tubular switch and open the in the direction as if the top were lowering, or if we lock the left side switch and open the trunk we could then fill the fluid and I believe the roof function properly as it was before the loss.

I believe that I can get my into the front left of the trunk if there is a way to unlock Right side tubular . we could get into the trunk by the trunk rearwards as if the top were I can definitely get my hand into the side to trip that side tubular frame switch if that is the better way to go.

I would like to be able to let the RVC that the top is all the way up and locked so that I can get my out of the short stroke mode. Can diagnostics override the switches? me out of the short stroke mode? Let me the trunk?
