Hungarian defender Attila Zalai is joining Chelsea

Hungary coach Marco Rossi has revealed that Fenerbahce’s Hungarian defender Attila Zalai is joining Chelsea.

Rossi gave an interview with Calcio Mercato Homeland media about the Hungarian national team getting the chance to play in the next big league.

“It’s hard to name a player. But now I look at Zalai, who plays for Fenerbahce. I’m playing well But I think he is moving to Chelsea.”

“Right now there are many famous teams in Spain that are following him. But obviously the move to Chelsea is nearing completion,” Rossi said.

For Attila Salai is a 23-year-old young center back who is tall and big. Started making a name in his homeland with Mesokovesd before joining Apollon Limassol in Cyprus, followed by Fenerbahce. at the beginning of last year 

In addition, he was one of the generals of the Magyar army in the past Euro 2020 and started for the team in all three matches in the first round.

Previously, he played for Rapid Vienna and Hungarian club Mizokoviced.

The defender is under contract with Istanbul-based Fenerbahce until 2025.

He has made 21 caps since his international debut in 2019.

He played in each of Hungary’s recent World Cup qualifiers against England – a 4-0 loss at home in Budapest and an impressive 1-1 draw at Wembley last month.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is now believed to be considering Szalai as the eventual successor to 36-year-old Thiago Silva.
